Characterised by its logistical approach, extensive range & technical product knowledge, Aqua.com is also a trusted partner in other European countries. In addition to Belgium, the company also has a strong customer base in the Netherlands and the Scandinavian countries. Thanks to its location in Herentals, Aqua.com is also geographically complementary with our other Belgian companies. Both parties are enterprising and reinforce each other's network. As part of PWG, Aqua.com is strengthening their position and enlarging their offer. Pollet Water Group on its turn adds a strong name. In addition, Aqua.com brings us a lot of extra product knowledge. Aqua.com is known as the specialist for membrane housings, resins and pressure vessels. Looking back at a great Aquatech Amsterdam 2019! Thank you all for joining us. We met a lot of our international customers, had the opportunity to showcase some of our new domestic & industrial products and presented you 4 of our brands on a second booth. Looking forward to a great 2020. Let's make water count! We are over halfway of our partnership in the ‘Sweet H2O’ project. Together with the project partners Pollet Water Group is studying the feasibility of the desalination of North Sea Water for decentral water production with a renewable energy source, specifically wind or solar energy. We are now finishing the phase where we look at the energy efficiency of the technology. In a next phase, the combination with renewable energy will be made. Mayor challenge here is to make the technology energy flexible. Sweet H2O stands for Sustainable Water desalination based on smart and Efficient renewable Energy Technology and is a VLAIO funded project facilitated by The Blue Cluster. Our project partners are UGent, Vito, EnergyVille, De Watergroep, Blue Power Synergy and Xant.
